Eyewitnesses added that the Israeli police forces moved towards the mosque, which is covered under the cover of a barrage of sound bombs, and pointed out that police forces climbed the roof of the Islamic Museum in the squares of Al Aqsa.

شهدت ساحات المسجد الأقصى، أحداث كر وفر عقب الانتهاء من أداء المصلين لصلاة الجمعة، بسبب الاقتحام المفاجئ الذي قامت به قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إبان الصلاة.

وأطلقت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلى، قنابل الغاز المسيل للدموع  وقنابل لإحداث صوت  شديد يثير  الإزعاج بين المواطنين ، كما  ترقبت قوات الاحتلال  المصلين ودفعتهم على الخروج إجباريًا من المسجد الأقصى، وقامت العشرات من عناصر الشرطة خلف حواجز بلاستيكية بمتابعة المصلين  لطردهم من باحات الأقصى .

وقال فراس الدبس، مسؤول الإعلام في دائرة الأوقاف الإسلامية في القدس، في بيان مقتضب، إن عددًا غير محدد من المصلين أصيبوا ولكن إصاباتهم طفيفة .

وأكد "الدبس"، أن قوات الاحتلال أوقفت العديد من المصلين أثناء خروجهم من ساحات المسجد الأقصى.

وبحسب الشهود، اندلعت مواجهات أيضا بين الشبان الفلسطينيين وقوات الشرطة الاحتلال في منطقة باب حطه في بلدة القدس القديمة، وهذه هي أول مواجهات في المسجد الأقصى منذ نحو عام .




وأضاف شهود عيان، أن قوات شرطة الاحتلال تقدمت باتجاه المسجد القبلي المسقوف تحت غطاء وابل من قنابل الصوت، وأشاروا إلى أن قوات من الشرطة اعتلت سطح المتحف الإسلامي في ساحات الأقصى.
